Dr. Tim Terlep
Dr. Tim Terlep has practiced and lived in Hernando county for twenty five years. He and his wife, Shelly, found the beauty and allure of Hernando County’s gulf coast locale irresitible. Having completed undergraduate studies as a Hurryin’ Hoosier at Indiana University, he received graduate training at the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic and his doctoral degree in 1988. Post-doctoral studies in functional neurology became an area of extensive training and a focus of care through the years. Dr. Terlep has maintained a comittment to a focus on the causes and correction of the many conditions which the offices sees as well as bringing relief from the symptoms which those conditions create. With the acceleration of advanced technologies in the last many years, incorporating those technologies to accelerate healing and improve clinical specificity has been a passion of Dr. Terlep and the office utilizes the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools available.
Dr. Terlep and his wife have born and raised three daughters in Hernando County. He is actively involved with the local medical community, a member for the Florida Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association, an avid supporter of the local YMCA and its many programs for the community and a member of the Hernando Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Ryan Stookey
Dr. Ryan Stookey was born and raised in western Pennsylvania and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. In 2008, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the world renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic. After graduation, he spent five years practicing in the Blue Ridge Mountains but he and his wife heard the siren song of the Gulf and couldn’t pass the opportunity to relocate to the Nature Coast in the summer of 2014.
Dr. Stookey found his calling as a doctor of chiropractic after experiencing firsthand the benefits that chiropractic care provided. Initially, as a teenager, he enjoyed great improvement and control of his asthma. This afforded him the opportunity to participate at a high level in all the athletic endeavors he loved. He always possessed an interest in the health care yet it wasn’t until midway through his undergraduate studies that he made the decision to pursue training as a chiropractic physician. This came about as direct inspiration from his treating chiropractic doctor and the great results achieved in his health. The concept of facilitating the health of others – without drugs or surgery – continues to motivate and inspire his practice today.
Dr. Stookey’s post-graduate training is in Injury Prevention, Performance Enhancement and Corrective Rehabilitation. He has undergone extensive training for correction of disorders involving both the upper and lower extremities. He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and completed his Performance Enhancement Specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, which has led to him working with amazing athletes of all ages throughout his career.
Dr. Stookey can be found with his wife Desiree on the beach, listening to music, exercising, golfing and exploring all that the great outdoors of the Gulf Coast has to offer.
Dr. Philip Snyder
Dr. Philip Snyder is a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, licensed to practice in Florida and Pennsylvania. He graduated from Life University, cum laude, and has worked with elite athletes, both Professional and Division I, Olympic medalists, runners, rugby players, golfers, swimmers, triathletes, WWE, NFL, NBA, and MLB players. Dr. Snyder specializes in identifying and correcting problems associated with posture and movement.
In addition, Dr. Snyder holds a Master’s degree in Sport Health Science with an emphasis on Sport Injury Management; this includes extensive training in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. He incorporates this training into a concept of structure and function, treating muscle imbalances and the kinetic chain while utilizing various methods of rehabilitation.
Dr. Snyder strives to identify what is causing the patients particular problems to occur and which muscles or actions are involved. He emphasizes muscle imbalance, core stabilization, balance training, coordination and movement, and power. This aids in retraining patterns in the brain through proprioceptive rehabilitation, allowing the athlete to achieve optimal performance. A combination of adjustments, stretching, strengthening, and movement modifications are utilized to help correct the dysfunction. Dr. Snyder’s goal is to keep you moving so that you can do what you love.
Dr. Snyder holds various certifications including Certified Chiropractic Sport Physician®, fully certified in Active Release Technique® and KinesioTaping®. He is certified by the Council of Extremity Adjusting as a CCEP® with post graduate training in adjustment of extremities (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and the jaw). He also has completed post graduate training programs in Strength and Conditioning.

Dr. Richard Tantillo
Dr. Richard Tantillo, D.C., grew up Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He received his Bachelors from the University of the State of New York, an MBA from Strayer University, and his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College, located in Seneca Falls New York.
Prior to his career in Chiropractic Medicine, Dr. Tantillo enjoyed a successful career in the medical device industry, working for fortune 100 companies including Eli Lilly’s Physio Control Corporation, Philips Medical, and GE Healthcare. As the Government Manager at Physio Control Corporation he worked closely with the DOD during the Gulf War on specialized medical equipment requirements to support our troops.
Following his career in the medical device world, Dr. Tantillo returned to school to pursue a career in Chiropractic. He was inspired to change careers following a low back injury that required surgery. After being successfully treated with Chiropractic care, Dr. Tantillo gave up corporate life and has never looked back.
Dr. Tantillo is a National Registry Certified DOT Medical Examiner. He is also certified to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia. Dr. Tantillo also has a passion for clinical nutrition and continues to pursue his Diplomat in Clinical Nutrition.
An avid athlete, he played college baseball and hockey. Dr. Tantillo is a triathlete and competes locally from Sarasota to Crystal River. Combining solid nutrition and diet, appropriate supplementation, exercise, and regular Chiropractic Care, he serves as an example to his patients for a healthy lifestyle.
When not at work, Dr. Tantillo enjoys spending time with his three daughters, two of which have husbands in the military serving in Afghanistan and Germany.
